This is an antique cast iron boot jack from the late 1800's. It measures 9" long and 3 1/2" at the widest point. This one is slightly different from most, as it doesn't have any posts or legs. This one is made to sit flat on the ground, or floor, while one foot is placed on the back section. The other foot is then placed into the heel opening and the boot is removed as the wearer lifts his foot. It has rough casting and parting lines. There is no makers mark or stamps of any kind. This one seems to have been made with the intention of being carried around.
