Vanmark George Armstrong Custer

This is a figurine of Major General George Armstrong Custer from the Vanmark "Commanding Images of the Civil War" from 2002. This is a second edition piece, numbering 299 of 480 pieces in that edition. The figure measures 10" in overall height with a base that measures 4 3/4" across. Custer is depicted wearing a double breasted frock coat with Major General shoulder straps, his signature black wide brimmed hat, red scarf and black Cavalry boots with spurs. He is holding a staff and field officer's sword. Famous commanders from the Civil War included in the series are Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, Nathan Bedford Forrest, J.E.B. Stuart, John Singleton Mosby, U.S. Grant, Winfield Scott Hancock, Joshua Chamberlain and Phillip Sheridan. These make really great decorations for round out the war room!
