Spanish Southwestern Spur

This is another spur in the style of those used in the Southwestern United States during the 1800's. This iron spur i pretty hefty, weighing a little over three pounds! The heel band measures 3 1/4" across the opening, is 3/4" wide and almost 1/4" thick. The neck measures 2 1/2" in length, 1/2" in width and is curved upward. The 8 point rowel rotates freely and has tines that measure 3/4" in length. The leather strap is missing from this one. One of the buttons to attach the strap is missing. The outside of the heel strap and neck have been engraved and highlighted with brass. Another great looking piece of South Western decor for your home or office.
