#7 Iron Skillet

This is an iron skillet from the early 1900's. There is no maker mark on this one, just the number 7 stamped into the handle. The handle measures 13 3/4" long. The skillet has sloping sides, and measures 12 1/2" across the top and 10" across the bottom. The handle is attached to the skillet by three iron brads. This one is not made of heavy gauge iron, allowing it to heat up faster. There is light rusting in the skillet interior, nothing a little steel wool wouldn't take care of. The back of the upper brad is broken off, but the handle is still securely attached to the skillet. This would make a great decoration for your cabin, or with a little elbow grease could still be used to cook up a mighty fine breakfast!
