Model 1860 Holster
Item #: AA811
This is a well used Model 1860 Colt Army holster. It appears to have seen extensive use but remains intact and functional. The stitching is still very tight, with only one small area near the flap where the stitching is broken. The leather retains most of the black color. Areas of high points, suach as where the cylinder raised the leather and on the flap are brown. The brass closure stud is present and aligns perfectly with the flap. The toe does not have a plug in it. The belt loop is still held on by tight copper rivets. This one could have saw service in the Civil War then traveled west to participate in the Indian campaigns. The leather is still very supple and flexible. You can see the outline of a Colt revolver from across the room in this one! It will compliment your Civil War, Indian Wars or Colt pistol collection.
