Early Issue Kevlar Helmet

This is an early style PASGT (Personnel Armored System for Ground Troops) Kevlar helmet used in conjunction with the ballistic vest by the US military from the early 1980's through the mid 2000's. It was replaced by the Light Weight Helmet and Interceptor Vest system currently in use by the military. This one is a size large and comes with an ACU (Advanced Camouflage Uniform) cover. A helmet band with the name Jones and two reflective "cat eyes" is also included with this helmet. The leather sweat band has seen mild use, as well as the two piece chin strap. If you collect modern military, or are a "Prepper" then you shouldn't pass this one up!
