Rexcraft Regulation Bugle

US regulation bugle manufactured by Rexcraft. Rexcraft made bugles for the Boys Scouts, the US military, and other non military organizations. The company was in business from 1919 to 1933, when it was bought by another company. The bugle measures 17" in length and has a horn measuring 4 3/8" across. The mouth piece is nickel plated. There are only one or two small dings on this one. Rexcraft / US Regulation / MADE IN USA is stamped just above the horn. Therre are no other markings anywhere. We picked this one up at the Estate auction in Memphis, Tennessee also. There were many military items there, so it is possible this one could have been used during World War II. The brass has turned a very eye pleasing chocolate brown patina. A really nice musical instrument from the early 1900's.
