Hand carved Patriotic wooden eagle from the early 1900's, possibly World War I era. This beauty measures 31 5/8" wide and 11" high at the highest point. The craftsmanship is absolutely fantastic, the detail on the wings alone looks like it could fly right off the wall! The eagle clutches a patriotic red, white and blue shield in it's right talon and three arrows in the left one. The colors are still very vibrant on the entire piece. There is no identifying marks on this one anywhere. A stunning piece of folk art that just signifies your proud to be an American!
