Stoneware Pitcher Circa 1880
Item #: AA591
Stoneware pitcher from the 1880's out of middle Tennessee. This one came out of the Cumberland plateau region near Crossville, Tennessee. The pitcher measures 10 3/4" tall, 5" across the bottom and has a 4 3/4" opening. There is one incised line around the shoulder. The pitcher is two toned, being brown and grey with a glaze applied. There are no chips, cracks or damage of any kind on this one. Only one small run on the brown color. Not bad for a stoneware pitcher that's 130 year old pitcher!
