Antique Stoneware Jar

Stoneware jar/vase from northwestern North Carolina, circa 1860 - 1880. This jar was purchased in East Tennessee from a family estate sale. The jar was reported to have been brought from the Maggie Valley area of North Carolina in the early 1900's to Tennessee when the family relocated to Greene county Tennessee. The jar measures 11" tall, 5" across the base and 3 1/4" across the opening. The jar has a greenish brown color and has a clear glaze. The are no cracks, chips or other damage. Special shipping required for this item.
