Department of Kansas Delegate Ribbon

Delegate's ribbon from the Department of Kansas 4th annual encampment. The ribbon is light blue, measures 6 1/4" long and 1 7/8" wide. The top 1/4" of the ribbon is frayed, where the pin broach apparently was removed or lost. The very bottom edge is slightly frayed and slightly faded on the reverse side. The ribbon is embossed with the lettering DELEGATE/ Fourth Annual / ENCAMPMENT / Dept. of Kansas, / G. A. R. / the GAR medal / Fort Scott, Kansas, / March 10, 11, and 12, / 1885. This is one of the rarer GAR ribbons out there. If you collect GAR memorabilia I'll bet you're missing this one!
