Early 1900's aluminum ladle strainer. The handle is 11 3/4' long and the strainer is 5 1/8" across. The handle has green paint and a trace of gold. Seems to be more modern spray paint. The ladle is bare aluminum. These were used in restaurants and home kitchens as well. if you grew up in the south during the 1900's you definitely remember these things. Mom or Grandma cooking up deep fried chicken and dipping it out of the pot with one of these!
