Matching bone handled knife and fork mess set. The knife is 9" in length and has the American Cutlery Co trademark on the blade. The fork is 7 1/2" in length and has three tines. both pieces are in remarkable condition for the age. These were apparently a private purchase set, probably an officers set. Oral history of being used during the Indian wars period. Important pieces of everyday life for the soldier in the field. These will round out your camp scene or flat ware collection. They are being sold as a set.
