Iron 31 caliber gang mold measuring 10" in length. This one is not maker marked, but it's not hard to imagine a southern cavalryman squatting by the fire making 31 caliber round balls for the next days fight! The mold is capable of making three balls per pour. The scissor type mold opens and closes freely and has that look of having been there! This would be a great addition to your Southern Cavalry or ammunition collection.
