Tin for musket/carbine caps manufactured by the UMC Co. of Bridgeport, Connecticut. The lid has a painted label instead of a paper one. It is marked UNITED STATES ARMY CAPS. WATERPROOF. on the outer edge of the lid. The center is marked 100 U.M.C. CO. Bridgeport, Conn. Between the two lines of script is an Eagle motif. Inside the tin are 13 flanged caps. The tin is in perfect shape, no dents or distortions. Another great example ideal for your firearms or ammunition collection.
