Eley Bros Cap Tin

Cap tin from the Eley Brothers of London, England. The tin is in great condition retaining 95% of it's original color. The tin is not dented and the lid removes easily. The label shows wear along the perimeter but is completely legible. It reads ELEY BROs manufacturers, London on the outer edge. In the center it reads 100 metal lined CAPS, made expressly for COLT'S PT Belt and Pocket PISTOLS. Surprise, there are no caps in the tin. Some resourceful soldier used it to store ammo in! 11 heavily oxidized ball that I believe are 31 caliber are inside. This will make an interesting addition to your camp display.
