Confederate Crafted Dagger from a Federal "US" marked Bayonet. This example has a beautiful patina and very solid when held. The pommel of the handle has a "bullet" size lead fill to secure the blade. The original walnut handle has strong eye appeal and love the single initial so often seen on Southern used weapons. Wonderful Confederate weapon and one that summarizes the plight of the South's War effort.
