One of 27,000 Sharps Firearms that were converted to the 50/70 Government Cartridge by Springfield Armory. Beautiful carbine with crisp action and strong bore. The maker mark, patent date, and cartouche are all visible. This is a very nice example and how cool is the history from Civil War to the Wild West and now to your Gun Room. Ole Rebel has even been known to kill buck with one of these carbines.
