Scarce Model 1860 Cavalry Sword with maker mark, date, and inspector marks. The scabbard shows some armory repairs, maybe Confederate as one scabbard ring mount is crude and smaller than the original. The crude mount and drag have period repairs and sword surfaced out of the South with Southern usage history. Scarce contract sword with honest wear and visible marks.
