Pattern 1839 US Belt Plate

This is a non excavated Model 1839 US waist belt plate. It measures 3 3/8" wide and 2 1/8" tall. The face of the plate displays great, with a dull mustard patina and damage free. This plate uses the arrow hooks on the back, all three hooks are present. The lead back is all there too. The brass still has a little bit of shine to it. It's a great looking piece of Federal Civil War history for the belt plate collector.
