This is a pair of coffee mugs celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Navy Chief! The mugs were custom made by the Military Art Career Collectibles Company located in Westford, Massachusetts. The Navy rank of Chief Petty Officer was established on 1 April, 1893. This 100th anniversary mug was commissioned by the Navy to celebrate 100 years of leadership provided by Navy Chiefs in 1993. The mugs are in the style of the companies 9 ounce WWII Victory mug that was used on board US Naval ships during World War II. The mugs are in good condition, though one does have a chip on the bottom rim. If you have a Navy Petty Officer in the family, this would make the perfect birthday, Christmas or even promotion gift!
