US Navy Chief Petty Officer Cap Badges

This is a set of cap badges for a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy. One of the badges is for use with the combination cap. It has a black elastic band that goes around the base of the combination cap, with a leather base to mount the appropriate rank on. The second is the rank insignia of a Chief Petty Officer. These are part of a small grouping from a local US Navy Master Chief that retired from the Navy. Both pieces were made by the Hilborn Hamburger Company, making military accessories since 1926.
