This is a .58 caliber swag based Minie bullet recovered on private property in Madison Parish, Louisiana, near the site of the Battle of Miliken's Bend, that took place 7 June, 1863. The bullet is in dropped condition. The lead has turned white from being in the ground over 150 years! This is a nice, inexpensive little piece that could be the start of a young Civil War buffs collection! This relic comes in a clear plastic display case with removable top.
