.54 Caliber Bullet Recovered in Cullman, County, Alabama

This is a .54 caliber carbine recovered on private property in Cullman County, Alabama, near the site of the Battle of Day's Gap, that took place 30 April, 1863. The bullet is in dropped condition. The lead has turned white from being in the ground over 150 years! This is a nice, inexpensive little piece that could be the start of a young Civil War buffs collection! This relic comes in a clear plastic display case with removable top.
