This book covers every aspect connect with the Civil War, from the politics of that period, to the commanders and battles of America's bloodiest conflict. The book contains over 800 illustrations, many in color, to support the narrative of each chapter. This book will make a very good reference book for those students of the Civil War, especially to research actual troop positions on different battlefields. This hard book book is in good condition, but does not have a dust cover.
