This is a United Confederate Veterans reunion flag from the 1920's - 1930's era. The flag measures 36"' high by 58" wide. All stitching is machine stitched and is very tight and solid. The stars are printed on the cotton material. The cotton hoist has two brass grommets that are securely attached. There is one hole in the upper right quadrant, basically about the size of a baseball. The red, white and blue colors are still very vibrant. This one has the look of an actual Confederate battle flag that was there and saw the Elephant. This flag was purchased in the 1960's from the former location of the Nathan Bedford Forrest United Confederates Veterans Camp #3 in the St Elmo region of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The flag, along with several others purchased from the Forrest Camp #3, were in a private collection in Ringgold, Georgia since the purchase in the 1960's. These size flags display well, either on their own or as part of a bigger display.
