This is a six shot German made center fire revolver in .32 caliber. This pocket pistol has an overall length of 7", with a barrel length of 3 1/4". The octagon barrel is a smoothbore, and has a bright bore with no pitting or rust. It is a very well made gun, in the style of the Lefaucheux style pinfire revolvers. The gun retains 90% of the original nickel finis with some small areas of freckling on the barrel, ejector rod and cylinder. There are no maker marks on the gun anywhere, but an 1891 German proof mark is found on the right side of the frame, the bottom of the barrel and on the cylinder. The barrel, cylinder, frame and back strap have been engraved with floral designs. The mechanics of the revolver work perfectly. The grips are elaborately designed, with a floral relief pattern at the top and a bearded woodland creature in the Meerschaum style of Bavaria. They are almost flawless, with one small chip on the bottom of each side. This is a great looking pocket pistol that will look good in any early revolver collection.
