This is a non excavated US Naval button from the 1900's, probably made for reenacting. This two piece button is cuff size and has an American eagle perched atop an upright anchor with fouled rope on the face. The button is not back marked and has a steel back. The face is dent free, no mars or blemishes. The eagle is facing to the right with spread wings. All of this is on a lined field with a rope border, 13 stars surround the eagle and anchor. The majority of the gilt remains on this button. The shank is still present and standing straight.
