Vietnam Era US Match Safe

This is a plastic match safe used by United States military units during the Vietnam War. The small, dark green, two piece plastic container measures 2 7/8" long and 1" across. The cap threads on and off. The bottom of the case has US and the letter S embossed in it. A small strip of flint was also set into the bottom of the case. The flint in this one i all but gone. The inside of the cap has a striker. This one still has two matches left in it. This little piece will go along way in helping complete your Vietnam field display, or reenactment kit! You could even use it to go camping!
