This is a United Confederate Veterans hat pin. It is 2 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" high. The tin badge has seen a lot of wear and has a great aged patina. This hat badge is retained to the hat by three brass wires soldered to the back of the badge. The letters CV are prominently displayed in the center of the badge. The letters are brass and have a great look to them. This one displays great by itself, but would look killer if you have an old slouch hat that is missing the badge!
