This is the set of 1:24 scale diecast cars made by the Action company to commemorate the pole winner and race winner of the 1995 Brickyard 400. The pole winner was Jeff Gordon driving the #24 Dupont Chevrolet and the race winner was Dale Earnhardt Sr driving the #3 GM Goodwrench Service sponsored Monte Carlo. The paint schemes are the ones that Gordon and Earnhardt drove on that race day, Gordon in the familiar "Rainbow Warrior" scheme and Earnhardt in the legendary black #3. The cars are precision engineered by Action, a leader in the NASCAR collecting industry and they are one of 5000 made. The body and chassis are all diecast. The hood opens to reveal a very detailed engine bay complete with 358 C.I engine, steering and suspension components. The body features superior graphics, detailed sponsorship and associate sponsor decals, the distinctive signatures of Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon along the roof line and the numbers 3 and 24 that they drove. The interior of the car is fully detailed, showing the dash instrumentation, shifter, roll cage, fire suppression system and much more. The dimensions of the car are 8 3/4" by 3 1/8" by 2". The cars come in the original Action performance box. The original packaging comes with the cars, the box being in good condition. In the words of Dale Earnhardt, " it was the day a boy won the pole, but a man won the race!"
