This is a toy cannon representing the French made 155 mm Creusot "Long Tom" from the Second Boer War period. The cannon measures 4 3/4" in length, 2" tall and 1 1/2" wide. The carriage and wheels are black and the cannon is chrome. There is no makers mark anywhere on the highly detailed cannon, only the word FRANCE stamped on the bottom of the carriage. This would look good with any Boer War diorama in 54mm. These make great desk display items, Christmas and birthday gifts.
