This is a set of World War I era binoculars that have no maker mark. The brass body of the binoculars is leather covered. The leather has a well worn, smooth surface and is securely attached to the optical tubes. A small section of leather is missing on the bottom of the right tube assembly. The glass in these old binoculars is perfect! This isn't a crack, spot, smudge or anything on them, clear as the day they were made. The eye cups are both unmarked. When fully extended the bino's are 5 3/4" long, retracted they measure 4" long. The binoculars have a maximum width of 4 1/2". The optics are fantastic with this set. The image is very clear and not distorted or cloudy. This set of bino's did not come with a carrying case. I believe these binoculars to be manufactured around the beginning of the 1900's. These would look great in a WWI display.
