This is an officer's belt and buckle from the 1910 - 1920's era. The belt has an extended length of 25" and is made of 1" ornate cloth material with a crimson cloth backing 1 1/2' wide. The false two piece buckle is similar to the M1905 Naval buckle. An applied great seal eagle has a 13 star arrangement over head. The buckle had gold wash applied, but only remains in the recessed areas. The crimson backing material is frayed and separated in several places. If have not been able to find an exact picture of this in any early 1900's military references, so this is possibly a military school or academy belt.
