This is a book that looks at the impact of encounters with the white man on the Native Americans in each region of North America. This book is part of a series on the Native Americans published by Time Life Books with a publication date of 1992. The red cover with gold lettering make this a visually appealing book. As with all of the Time Life series books, this one is very well written and informative. The narrative is 185 pages, broken into 4 chapters. The book is illustrated with numerous colored drawings, black and white as well as color photographs. The hard back book measures 11" x 8 1/2". This makes a great reference book for the early Native American collector, or a replacement for the one book you're missing from this series!
