This is a white enamel bucket from the early 1900's, circa 1920-1930's. It measures 8 3/4" high, is 8 1/4" across the bottom and 10 1/4" across the top. The white enamel is in very fine condition. There is the normal scuffing on the bottom from use, and two areas on the rim that have missing enamel and gouges. The rim is black and contrasts well with the white. The bucket has an approximate capacity of five gallons. These were very popular on the farm in the 1920's - 1930's. This one is solid enough to hold liquids. Another great decorator piece for the kitchen or rustic cabin. It could also be used as a very attractive planter.
